Zanzibar

Explore paradise !

Zanzibar - one name, two islands - Zanzibar + Pemba.
When I came to Zanzibar, I explored the paradise. In this country, you can see happy and smiling people all over the country. They are the most rich people which I've seen in my life. They have not much money, they have not any gold, oil or big property. They have a nature, they life their life. If I was there first few moments, I've seen just small shack, dirty street, broken pavement (if there are some)... After few minutes I've seen the native people, and it change my mind.

Masais

 Houses, money and property is nothing. I was very surprised by education on this island. People from Zanzibar are very high educated, know min 2-3 languages - English, French and German most of the time. Political system
is same like in European Union or, in some cases, maybe on high level.

Save island! - tourists protect Masai - africal tribe, who survive untill these days. They are everywhere and nowhere. Masais will go with you everywhere, if you request them.

If you plan to go to Zanzibar, you should choose well side of the island, if you will come for sea. In Zanzibar there is curiosity about tide and outflow. There is big changes, so in the sea, where you were swimming, now you can just walk ;) The sea can retreat more than 2 km to show what is hidden under water. Be possitive, in this case, you can go for walk in the sea and watch a sealife without wetting your body :).

If you will be on this island, you have to see:
"Blue safari" - rent a boat, explore little islands lost in the wide sea. And, don't forget your snorkel equipment :) Again like everywhere in my articles, i recommend to do a privat trip - you can go anywhere you want, you dont have to wait for nothing and nobody. Don't be afraid of native people! - show them, that they are on same level like you and they will love you and help you anytime you will need.
Spice tour - on the Zanzibar you can find many farm with spice ! Make a trip there, it is amazing !

Jozani forest

The Jozani-Chwaka Bay National Park - jugnle, where are animals at home, and you are just a visitor - NO ZOO ! You have to go in with your guide, never alone :)

Barcelona

Barcelona - Gaudí, tapas, chupito and party !

Barcelona is capital city of Catalonia. History, sea, beaches, football, amazing night life and much more - it is Barcelona.

Parc Guell 

Personally I recommend to you, dear visitors, to explore Barcelona by walk and use public transport. I used underground - very good and clear orientation, everytime you know where are you and fast transport around city. Tip for you - buy T-10 ticket - 10 journeys per 9,95 EUR, valid for 1 zone (it include centre and also transport to the airport).T-10 ticket you can buy in automat on stations or in travel office Punt TMB on underground stations: Diagonal, La Sagrera and Universitat. 

Barcelona beach

Cash point - in Barcelona there are not so much cash points in the city, so be prepared ;).

Be careful of pickpockets ! Especially in part of Barcelona called:La Rambla, Raval and Montjuïc and in public transport or on the beach.

Have to see:

Barri Gòtic - little narrow streets, small squares and fountains
Sagradu Familia
Museum - I recommend to buy "articket" - special offer for tourist, it save your money :) 20 museums per 20 EUR.
Historical tram in Barcelona's port - june till september, openin hours: from 11:00 till 20:00. One way ticket: 10 EUR, return ticket: 15,10 EUR.

Cabo Verde

Today I present amazing country full relax and neverending beaches - Cabo verde. 

One country - ten islands. This article is about the Sal island. The Sal is part of group of islands called Barlavento and it is the oldest island of Cabo Verde.

Capital city of Sal is Espargos, main capital city of Cabo verde is called Praia.

The Sal island is very small, I recommend to you, rent a car and explore it by yourself, without an agency. You can never get lost there. The lenght of the island is +/- 35km and width of the island is 12km.

Interesting places:
Espargos town - old town with historical buildings and squares, pubs, discos
Palmeira harbour
Olho Azul - approximately 5 km far from Palmeira - sea caves and cliffs - especially for divers !
Pedra Lume - next to this small town you can find amazing old salt mine crater, where you can bathe in this "little lakes"

Buracona - "the magic eye"
Monte Grande - the highest mountain (406 m), you can see fata morgana there ;)
Boa vista island

Big advantage of Cabo Verde is constant hot weather, so you ca not chose bad-time of you holiday there ! The hottest months are September, Cctober, November and December. The "coldest" months are January, February and March - temperature + 20°C. 

Never-ending beach and high wavy sea - paradise for windsurfing fans.

Mallorca

Mallorca - sun, sea and wine!
Mallorca island is the biggest island of Balearic islands.
The main language is Spain, but don't worry, everybody understand English well.
Capital city is Palma de Mallorca.
Interesting place in Palma de Mallorca: 
La Seu Cathedral, 
seaside promenade with palms,
arabic spa,
Valldemose  monastery,
wild nightlife - pubs, clubs...

Things to do, place to see in Mallorca:
Palma de Mallorca
Valldemossa - mountains Sierra de Tramuntana, not so far from Palma de Mallorca. Famous monastery La Cartuja. If you will be there,  you have to visit the Palace Palacio del Rey Sancho.
Tramuntana mountains -  You can find wonderful seesights, wild animals. Nice place for hiking, an ideal place for climber.
Golf - on the island you can find very good golf course
Pollença - north of the island. You can find there famous monastery called Santo Domingo, vista Puig del Calvari - 365 steps, but the view is amazing.
Artá - in the east side of island. You can find there city walls from 13th centrury. Don't forgot to visit Cuevas de Artá - dripstones cave.
Cala Ratjada - in the east side of island. The best beaches on the island
Felanitx - city of wine. St. Margaritta watter well, church from 13th century, Castell de Santuer, monastery San Salvador, ruins of castle Santueri

Tunisia

The capital city of Tunisia is Tunis. The main destination for tourists are:

Hammamet,

Yasmine Hammamet,
Mahdia,
Sousse,
Monastir,
Djerba Island.

Tunisia is very safe, cheep and tourist-friendly arabic country. What to do in Tunisia ? So many activities, from shopping (for instance spices, leather products, jewels), swimming in the sea and sunbathing on the beach,diving, camel riding till adrenalin sports like paraglide, quad bikes roads in desert or parachute.

Everywhere in arabic country you have to be very careful about foods and drinks - I recommend to you, don't eat anything on the street market and drink water just from bottle.

Mess in the city - unfortunately there is a big mess on the street. You have to accept it, and stop to solve it. They have as a different mentality as in Europe...

If you plan to travel to Tunisia on month September or October, you should have a problem with a dirty sea. In this time there is a lot of brown algae. Finally, sea in Tunisia is not much clear. You can not expect, sea like on Caribic.

Eindhoven - The Netherlands

For today i would like to present to you something about the Netherlands - Eindhoven

Holland is very famous because of flowers, windmills, clogs and cheeses, everybody know it, but you can find more there ! If you will be there you have to visit some flowermarket in the centre. It is a nice experiece - so much colors, smells and kind of flowers... 

Language - The Netherlands has their own language - for me it sounds very similar like German. Native people don't want to speak English or can not to speak English, so you should have problem with menus in the restaurants or it other basic situation. Don't be afraid, everybody are very nice and friendly and they will give you an advice if you will need. The main points of interest are in English - Airport, Trains... 





Eindhoven is a city of students. Thanks to the University of Eindhoven is city full of young people, very modern and full of energy. Also you can find there wonderful modern and colorful architecture, pubs, restaurants and shops. If you will be there you have to try Hutspot - dutch speciality (beef, onion, potatoes, carrot) and beer :).

Place in Einhoven which is good to see: 
Sint-Catharinakerk - nice small Neo-Gothic church in the centre
Van Abbemuseum - museum of modern art. You can find there Picasso, Chagall, Kandinsky or Mondriaan.
DAF Museum - museum of DAF vehicles, 
Designhuis - modern design museum
Historisch Openluchtmuseum Eindhoven - open air museum of history of area

Bikes - Everywhere where you will be, will be also bicycles ! The netherlands in tableland so it is paradise  for them. It is no problem to rent some for you. It is quite cheap and you can find it everywhere in the city. You dont have to be afraid of traffic, bike riders have their own traffic line :).

Cheeses - in shops specialized in cheese, you can try, taste and compare many kind of it. For me, like czech girl it was quite expensive to buy some. But it is neccesary! So good taste! 

In this country is very high quality public transport. I have use train there and it was very comfortable, fast and quite cheap.

Venice - Italy

The first article is about Venice. Wonderful city of ancient history, tasty food and wine, colorful amazing architecture and water everywhere. Visitors of Venice is divided into two branches. The first, they love it and they will visit it again and again. Second option, once and never more. A lot of people said, that Venice is dirty, stinking city without cars! I am part of 1st group. I love it and everytime when I am there, I feel there like at home. Old buildings, houses in the water, gondolas, bridges and water canals, labyrinthine alleyway and street markets.

No cars, just boats. If you want to move in Venice, you can use water buses or water taxis. For parking I recommend to go to Tronchetto. Venice is quite small, so there is no problem to explore it almost whole center by walk.





In Venice, there is very clearly airport - Treviso. From Airport you can very comfortable get to another cities or to the centre of Venice by bus. Next to the airport (close to entry) is bus terminal, so no stress about transport.
